Digital Story as an educator

When I was creating this video my main goal was to summarize all the wars that have occurred in the History of the U.S. I am glad I learned how to use this program because now I know that when I begin to teach History later in life, instead of putting a video of maybe the American Revolution, I can create a digital story to present to my class with facts and pictures and even cool music. This program can definitely be a great help and can replace a simple PowerPoint presentations. I would use this idea for instructional purposes. For learning I can ask my students to create a presentation about a specific subject and I will let them create a video or digital story for me as an assignment. Just as I had to learn how to use such software I will help them learn. They will research information and created into a video. This will help them adapt to technology and I will be becoming a “modern” teacher. Sometimes in the beginning of classes on the first day of school, students usually introduce themselves to the class I could make them just create a simple digital story to summarize everything they have to say and to make an introduction unique and fun.

Gloging and bloging :)

This is my myglog check out my glogster. I also was able to create pretty neat stuff using word cloud. I enjoyed using these particular websites. I think they are very fun to explore. I like how word cloud uses all these types of words and creates a shape. However, even though I was able to understand how to use both websites, I do think that Glogster is more difficult than using word paint. Word paint is easy to use. I can tell you that it is fun to create but only chldren 10 and up will enjoy it way more than a young kid. I can use word count when ever I come to teach the history of Abraham Lincoln and I will act like if I created that picture and then tell them truth and then show them how to make one as an activity.
Here are some that I did:

The main reasons I prefer a classroom setting rather than online courses is because with online courses I will definitely not be successful since I am an auitory and visual tactile learner.
I wonder if I am less capable of becoming the next Einstein if I am an auditroy learner?
I really thought I was more of a Kinestetic learner or visual learner but for all three my results were Auditory.
